Silvia Cornejo, Miss World 2006 Peru, traveled to the city of
Beijing, China, after receiving an invitation from the regional government
of Hunan Province, to participate in the Miss World Tourism Event Queen
International 2008 (Miss Tourism Queen International 2008), which culminates on April 10th.
This contest involves more than 80 candidates from around the world. This is one of those contests that every year will grow in importance in highlighting not just the beauty of the representative, but also her personality, charisma and knowledge related to tourism development and hotel condos in his country. Within the program of their presentations various cities to be visited!
In this competition there is a voting system in which the winner is classified directly into 15 semifinalists who will have a special presentation in the final program of the election of the new Miss Tourism Queen International 2008.
